Solidified explorers of developer Motion Twins majestic rogue-like action-platformer Dead Cells will have brand-new opportunities for adventure on 26th January, now verified as the release date for 2nd paid growth Fatal Falls.
Deadly Falls, which follows on from last years The Bad Seed paid DLC, throws open more doors of Dead Cells ever-shifting castle to offer passage to two new biomes – Fractured Shrines and The Undying Shores – as well as presenting new opponents, a new manager, and more.
Both biomes exist beyond the castles walls, with Fractured Shrines looking like a series of islands high in the clouds, inhabited by pagan snake individuals and huge axe-wielding statues. The Undying Shores, meanwhile, unfolds against an imposing cliff face lashed by a continuous storm; gamers can look for shelter from the rain in a connected cave system, although this is stated to be home to “strange experiments and undead therapists”.
