Erica is a video game about a young woman captured up in a murder examination, and in the pull of the dark, strange tricks lie within. How she browses through this, though, is of course up to you. What decisions will you make?
What raises Erica is the quality its put together with. Theres a charm and grace to it. The cinematography is gorgeous, the performing is typically strong, and the story is tense enough to pull you through.
Its made by Flavourworks, a small group in London. Im not exactly sure what the studio depends on next. The last sign of activity was a successful financing round for the technology behind Erica. More of the very same, then? I hope so!
A little ahead of schedule but delighted that #EricaiOS is now live in the App Store! pic.twitter.com/ImdpXSS3jb— Flavourworks (@flavourworks) January 14, 2021
Erica, the PS4 FMV thriller I truly liked, is now offered on the App Store. Its ₤ 3, but you can attempt a part of the game for totally free.
Im not sure about the smaller screens – its a cinematic kind of video game – but the touchscreen interface looks like it fits actually well. On PS4, you moved your fingers along the controllers touchpad to manage the video game, following fingerprint prompts on the screen.
