Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Switch remakes rumored for a February reveal – Gamesradar

In case you missed it, Pokemon Snap simply got an official April release date.

This isnt the very first weve become aware of possible Pokemon Diamond and Pearl remakes, but it is the first idea of a reveal date. Late last year we reported on a series of tweets from noted leaker Kelios claiming the Switch remakes would release in November 2021, which would be a practical release window if the report is precise and the announcement comes next month.
The Pokemon neighborhood has been anticipating Pokemon Diamond and Pearl remakes for a while now. Its been over a year because Pokemon Sword and Shield released, and because Red and Blue, Gold and Silver, and Sapphire and Ruby have all been remade, it appears inevitable for Nintendo to offer Gen 4 a fresh coat of paint.
Pokemon Diamond and Pearl introduced the mountainous Sinnoh region along with a lot of brand-new world functions and gameplay mechanics. There was the Pokemon Watch, which you can boost with apps you find throughout the video game, in addition to the Underground, an area constructed for online multiplayer where you could develop and embellish bases and play mini-games..

Pokemon Center reports that The Pokemon Company is planning to celebrate the franchises 25th anniversary with Pokemon Diamond and Pearl remakes, which apparently will include capture mechanics more like the original video games than the more current Pokemon Lets Go and Pokemon Sword and Shield models.

A new rumor says the 2006 Nintendo DS video games Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl are being remade for Change, with a main announcement slated for February. This would line up perfectly with reports of a February 27 Nintendo Direct.
