Stacey Solomon returns to Instagram with explanation for her disappearance – Mirror Online

Stacey Solomon has explained to her fans why she has been absent on Instagram after finally sharing a post following days away.

The Loose Women star explained the reason behind her mini-break is because her son Rex has not been sleeping well.

Stacey says he has been up a number of times every night – and it has left her drained.

But she credits the winter weather for bringing her back after rumours swirled that she had quit the app.

“I’m sorry I have been so quiet recently,” she wrote on her story with a warm cup of tea outside in the snow.

“Rex has been waking up 2/3 times a night for some reason and it’s killed me if I’m being honest.

“But this snow has given me life and woken me right up.”

Other mums soon messaged to say they have also been going through a tough time with their kids’ sleeping patterns.

The TV star has been working and on Friday’s Loose Women she threw her support behind Katie Price.

Katie has taken the tough decision to put son Harvey into full-time case.

Some have cruelly hit out at her on social media but the panelist says she has made the right move.

Stacey, who has three children herself, says people must remember Katie’s mum is very sick and she has a lot to cope with.

“This must be one of her most difficult decision she has ever had to make,” she said.

“She is so devoted, an incredible mum. She is on her own, she had help from her mum who now isn’t well.

“There is no other carer – especially with these last nine months it would have shown her how hard it is to be a sole carer.

“I can’t imagine what a difficult decision this is. I can’t imagine it,” she added.
