Meghan Markle and Harry ‘hurt the Queen’ says Thomas Markle
The retired lighting director, 76, who lives in Rosarito, Mexico, is working with a cinematographer and aims to have it wrapped up later this year. Mr Markle took part in a Channel 5 documentary last year but hopes his film will provide a more “complete” picture.
He told The Sun: “It begins with my life, my family, my love of theatre and television and how I got there.
“Then my life with Meghan, growing up, her school days until she went off to college, and when her career began.
“We had a good life together, up through her first marriage and her move to Canada.
“Then a new story begins! It’s kind of like ‘What happened to my baby girl’.”

It will include previously unseen home footage of Meghan.
Mr Markle said: “My documentary will have some new videos and my favourite photo of my ‘baby girl’ and we try to figure out what went wrong. I think we will do a good job.”
The news of Mr Markle’s documentary comes as a fresh blow to Meghan as her half-sister Samantha Markle is releasing a tell-all book.

The Queen is set to shut down Prince Harry’s request to keep his military titles, with one expert saying that the Duke of Sussex “cannot have it all”.
Speaking on Royally Us, co-host Christina Garibaldi said: “A lot of this has to do with Harry still maintaining his military titles which is really important to him, and that is something that they want to work out.
“But if you leave the royal family, you probably cannnot have it all.”
Co-host Molly Mulshine added: “I think there will also come a day when Harry and Meghan are no longer the ‘it couple’ of the moment and they will want a quieter life within the royal fold.
“That might be why they want to keep that door open.”

The Queen’s grandnephew Arthur Chatto has sparked a frenzy on social media with his impressive workout videos.
Arthur, who is 26th in line to the throne, is a personal trainer and has been showing off his fitness online.
The royal works at a gym in Scotland and features on their Instagram as well as regularly posting on his own account, which has nearly 200,000 followers.

Princess Anne is “clearly indispensable” to the Royal Family months after it lost three working members, a royal expert has said.
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Express.co.uk: “The Princess Royal has a record of consistent excellence in the way she carries out her duties. She also continues to be an expert on equine matters.
“She summed her role up in a recent documentary celebrating her 70th birthday saying ‘sitting still doesn’t happen very much’.
“Too right it doesn’t. She is usually top in the annual list of royal engagements carried out and is attached to some 300 organisations.
“Her work for Save the Children is truly remarkable, it has been a 50-year stint, which has earned her widespread popular approval.
“There are now fewer senior working royals and this level of commitment is extremely valuable to the Royal Family, she is clearly an indispensable member of the new inner circle of royals.”

The Queen has been told to replace Meghan Markle and Prince Harry with the Countess of Wessex after they quit royal duties, according to the results of an Express.co.uk poll.
Express.co.uk readers were asked whether Sophie should take on a bigger role after Meghan and Harry quit.
Out of the 2,551 people who voted, a staggering 2,331 voters (91 percent) said yes.
Only 202 people (nine percent) did not think so.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry “wrestle with their position in life”, according to journalist Tom Bradby.
Harry’s friend made the comments on Sunday’s episode of Love Your Weekend With Alan Titchmarsh.
Speaking about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s move to America, Mr Brady said: “But are they unhappy out there?
“No, I don’t think that’s right, I think they are pretty happy actually, but I think they wrestle with their position in life – I think they all do. I think William does too. I don’t think he finds it easy.”

Prince William has said he is “very proud” of the Queen and Prince Philip for having their Covid-19 vaccinations.
The Duke of Cambridge made his comments about the UK’s jab rollout in a video call with NHS staff.
William said: “My grandparents have had the vaccine and I am very proud of them for doing that. It is really important that everyone gets the vaccine when they are told to.
“I want to say huge congratulations to everyone involved in the vaccination programme because it looks tremendous and I know what a massive difference it is going to make to everyone.”
