Sharon Beale (Letitia Dean) sets in motion her plan to kill Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) in EastEnders tonight (January 21).

The Queen Vic landlady is desperate for revenge on Ian, as she holds him responsible for Dennis Rickman’s (Bleu Landau) demise.

Tuesday’s episode of the BBC One soap (January 19) saw Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) arrive at The Queen Vic with a drug deadly enough to kill Ian.

Phil placed the money for his drink on the bar, with the drugs hidden underneath, which Sharon then discreetly slipped off the bar and into her pocket.

She informed Phil that she was intending on carrying out her murderous plan ‘tonight’, and that’s exactly what she does in tonight’s episode.

In a preview posted on the serial drama’s social media account, Sharon thinks on whether or not to go through with her plan, but after staring at a picture of Denny, she’s determined to see Ian dead.

Therefore, she tells Ian that she’s planning a special meal for him, before informing him that it’s about time they consummate their marriage.

‘Well, we’ve been married a month,’ she said, as she edged closer towards him. ‘Don’t you think it’s about time we truly became man and wife?’

Ian was delighted, saying: ‘Oh, yeah’.

Sharon added: ‘Let’s make it a night to remember’
