Bridgerton fans were shocked when they discovered that the Netflix show’s leading lady Phoebe Dynevor, who plays Daphne Bridgerton, has a very famous mum.
Phoebe’s mother is none other than Sally Dynevor, who plays Sally Webster in Coronation Street, and the mother-daughter duo were seen out and about together at a farmer’s market Manchester this week.
And the Netflix star looked unrecognisable from the prim and proper high society lady she plays in Bridgerton.
Wrapping up warm for the cold, Phoebe, 25, donned a thick black coat, which she teamed with a pair of purple leggings and green boots with a furry lining as she stepped out with her mum, 57.
She accessorised with a brown woolly hat and wore her face mask around her chin.
Phoebe wore her blonde locks loose around her shoulders and sported minimal makeup for the outing.
Sally wore a long blue padded coat with a pair of jeans underneath.
She sported a thick red scarf and kept comfy in a pair of black trainers with red laces.
Her looked was teamed together with a yellow bag that she wore on her shoulder.
Phoebe and Sally grabbed a coffee and chatted as they walked together to the market.
When they got to the market Phoebe pulled up her face mask as they looked around the stalls.
Phoebe is Sally’s eldest child with her husband Tim Dynevor.
They also share Samuel, 23, and Harriet, 17.
Phoebe shot to fame playing the lead role in Netflix smash hit Bridgerton.
The show has been watched by more than 70 million households across the globe
She stars as Daphne, a young debutante looking to find a husband.
Daphne pairs up with the handsome Duke of Hastings (played by Regé-Jean Page) to make other men jealous so they propose to her.
But (spoiler alert) Daphne and the Duke fall in love and end up getting married, and a huge part of the show is dedicated to their saucy sexy scenes.
Phoebe has admitted she couldn’t watch the series’ racy moments with her family.
Speaking to BBC Radio 2, Phoebe said: “I had to sit there and fast forward on high alert with the remote control.
“We managed it just about.”
Phoebe has also said that the sex scenes were carefully choreographed like stunts to make sure those involved felt safe and happy.
Speaking to Grazia Magazine, she said: “My first-ever scene was in episode six, where Simon is going down on Daphne.
“And it was so great, because it felt safe and fun: you choreograph it like a stunt, or a dance.
“It’s crazy to me that that hasn’t been there in the past.”
