Gigi Hadid appears to reveal baby daughters cute name which means chosen one – Mirror Online

Gigi Hadid appears to have revealed her daughter’s name, four months after she welcomed her in September.

The 25-year-old supermodel had kept the name private until now, but a change in bio details on Instagram seemed to indicate that her daughter has been named Khai.

It is a name that has some authority as well, according to name origin websites, with Khai being said to be a name of Egyptian descent and means “the chosen one” and “royalty or nobility”.

Gigi has celebrated the arrival of her first child with former One Direction star, Zayn Malik, but she has not yet shown the baby’s face in her numerous appearances on Gigi’s Instagram page.

The naming clue came when Gigi updated her Instagram bio to read “khai’s mom,” apparently letting her more than 62 million followers know her daughter’s name.

It came after the model had celebrated four months since her daughter’s arrival, posting a black-and-white picture showing her kissing the baby’s cheek.

“My girl, 4 months & The best kid”, Gigi wrote alongside the snap, adding an angel emoji.

Zayn, who released the album Nobody Is Listening earlier this month, announced he had become a father on social media in September.

The 28-year-old wrote: “To try to put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding.

“Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, and thankful for the life we will have together.”

Los Angeles-born Hadid and Bradford’s Malik have been dating on-and-off since late 2015 but have become a more permanent fixture in the past couple of years.
