Jesy Nelson and Sean Sagar have reportedly called an end to their relationship after nine months, as they decided it was time to take a break.
The 29-year-old former Little Mix singer is thought to be looking to “focus on herself” as she continues to make changes in her life after leaving the girl band.
Our Girl actor Sean, 30, has been liking the pics of glamorous models on Instagram in the past couple of weeks and this has also been part of the reasoning that ‘things weren’t right’ in their relationship.
While Sean has been ‘liking’ photos of model Yasmeen Falck and Too Hot To Handle star Nicole O’Brien, he and Jesy have reportedly deleted all reference to each other on social media as their break up becomes a reality.
Speaking to The Sun, a source said: “Jesy and Sean have decided to take some time apart.
“It’s such a shame as they made a lovely couple but recently things haven’t been right between them.”
With Jesy adapting to life outside of Little Mix, for the first time in a decade, the source said that “she has to put herself first” and that she is “working hard on herself.”
It has been reported that the national lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic has also taken its toll on the couple, which has hastened their desire to spend “time apart from each other.”
Last October, Jesy was declaring her love for Sean, who she had started dating in April last year.
Following her split from ex-boyfriend Chris Hughes, Jesy kept the new relationship quiet until they went Instagram official in October, with Jesy saying he was her “everything”.
Since the turn of the year, rumours that they had split started to spread, with fans quickly noticing that their romantic snaps together had been deleted from their social media pages.
it soon followed that Sean had been liking models on Instagram, with a topless photo of Yasmeen Falck posing in just high-waisted jeans on January 4 getting plenty of attention as another sign that he and Jesy were over.
The Mirror has contacted representatives for Jesy Nelson for comment.
