It’s no secret that Samsung fans around the world hate the fact that some countries see Exynos versions of the company’s flagship phones. Here in the United States, we see Snapdragon variants of pretty much every Sammy flagship, including this year’s Galaxy S21 line.

In the latest Speed Test G video, Gary Sims pits the best-of-the-best of the Android world against each other. The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Snapdragon vs Exynos bout helps to answer the question of whether or not the Exynos 2100 can beat the Snapdragon 888.

The simple answer is “no”: the Exynos 2100 loses handily. However, the Snapdragon 888 lags behind the Exynos 2100 at first, likely due to the latter chip’s overclocked CPU. It’s only when GPU tests begin that we see the Exynos variant trail behind.
