The real reason why Jesy Nelson and Sean Sagar split – cosmopolitan.com

After fans started to speculate about whether Jesy Nelson and Sean Sagar have split, a new report claims to know the real reason behind the break up.

The singer and Our Girl actor were first linked last July, when a source told The Sun, “Jesy and Sean have really hit it off. They’ve got the same sense of humour and he’s been making her smile. He’s told his mates he thinks she’s really hot and fun to be with.”

They were quickly spotted flirting on Instagram, before going social media official on Stories in September and sharing loved up grid selfies in October.

But yesterday [21 January] fans started to speculate about a split, after noticing both Jesy and Our Girl’s Sean had deleted all traces of each other from Instagram.

Gone were the loved up selfies and PDA-filled captions, as well as the gushy comments.

And now, a new report from The Sun claims the pair decided to go their separate ways so they could focus on themselves, following Jesy’s decision to leave Little Mix. “Jesy and Sean have decided to take some time apart,” the source said.

“It’s such a shame as they made a lovely couple but recently things haven’t been right between them. Jesy just left Little Mix and is working hard on herself right now — she has to put herself first.

“Lockdown has made it really difficult too, so for now Jesy and Sean are taking time apart from each other.”

Announcing her decision to leave Little Mix in December, the 29-year-old said, “The truth is recently being in the band has really taken a toll on my mental health. I find the constant pressure of being in a girl group and living up to expectations very hard.

“I need to spend some time with the people I love, doing things that make me happy. I’m ready to embark on a new chapter in my life – I’m not sure what it’s going to look like right now, but I hope you’ll still be there to support me.”
