Piers Morgan has slammed Brooklyn Beckham’s latest neck tattoo dedicated to fiancee Nicola Peltz, branding it “creepy and weird”.
David Beckham’s eldest son, 21, got his fifth tattoo dedicated to his fiancee this month, which saw his future wife’s eyes inked onto the back of his neck above a love letter she had written him.
Giving his expert opinion on the new tattoo, Piers said on Good Morning Britain today: “Congratulations to Brooklyn Beckham, who’s – what is he? He’s a famous child. He’s taken to Instagram to show off his latest inking on the back of his neck.
“It’s his fifth permanent tribute that he’s made to his American actress fiancee, Nicola Peltz. It shows her eyes and a load of guff he’s written.”
Susanna interjected: “No, I think it’s a love letter she wrote to him!”
“Right. Imagine if they break up? He’s going to have to get someone else’s eyes,” Piers said. “There’s going to be a lot of eyes on that back by the time he’s older!”
Susanna questioned: “Have you got any tattoos, by the way?”
Piers replied: “No! I just don’t get tattoos.”
Questioned on what he meant, Piers said: “If God wanted you to have tattoos, he’d have given you them. And David Beckham, he’s just a tattoo now, isn’t he? He’s just one great big tattoo.
“And now his kids are doing it. Putting your girlfriend or fiancee or wife’s eyes on your neck, it’s just so creepy and weird.”
Susanna insisted: “It’s romantic!”
Piers exclaimed: “It’s not romantic, it’s just the oddest, weirdest cringe thing that I’ve ever seen!”
