Brad Pitt’s daughter Shiloh has reportedly snubbed her father by removing his surname from her secret social media profile.
The 57-year-old Hollywood actor’s divorce from Angelina, 45, seems to be heading to the courts as they thrash the details of the custody of their children.
While the couple’s six children are living with Angelina in her Los Angeles mansion, they reportedly have regular contact with Brad as they share parenting responsibilities.
It would seem that there could be a twist in the tail of the custody battle, after 14-year-old Shiloh decided to drop the name Pitt from her social media profile.
Shiloh is thought to be the closest to Brad among the children, so the dropping of his surname would be a huge blow to the actor.
A source said: “This is a huge snub towards Brad and a sign he could be losing Shiloh to Angelina.
“Even though she surely meant no harm by it, [it’s] a real kick in the teeth.”
The insider added that Brad “lives and breathes for those kids,” and that “family is everything to him. So this has got to hurt, for sure.”
It hasn’t always been harmonious for Brad and his children, as he had a fallout with son Maddox, 19, in the final months of his marriage to Angelina.
The pair reportedly came to blows on a flight back from France and Brad was accused of being “verbally abusive” to Maddox, who was 15 at the time.
A source told People at the time that Brad was “drunk and there was an argument between him and Angelina.”
They added: “No one was physically harmed.”
The insider explained: “Brad made contact with Maddox in the shoulder area, and there was absolutely no physical injury to him.”
Brad and Angelina share Maddox, Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 14 and 12-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox between them.
They have been fighting for custody of their six children since 2016.
It has been reported that “Brad is asking for 50/50 custody to be put in place and stay in place,” but is in loggerheads with Angelina over his parenting style.
