Lauren Goodger admitted she found the first three months of her pregnancy ‘quite difficult’ due to sickness and nausea.
On her Instagram Story on Sunday evening, the former TOWIE star, 34, answered questions about her journey into motherhood, including her baby’s name, a possible gender reveal and plans for labour.
She also responded to criticism regarding her decision to share her private life online, as she teased a potential return to reality TV.

‘[I] Found it quite difficult for the first three months’ Lauren said during an Instagram Q&A session.
‘It’s just over as well and it’s just starting to get better so yeah, just tired still, but not the sickness.’
Later on, she elaborated on her feelings of nausea: ‘I felt very, very sick but wasn’t actually sick all the time.
‘I have been sick a few times, or just had the feeling, I would rather have been sick because it’s a mental release.’

According to Lauren, who is now 18 weeks pregnant, she also hopes to have a natural labour with no epidural.
She said: ‘I want a completely natural birth, I don’t want any epidural or anything, I literally want gas and air, the old fashioned way.’
When asked if she will do a gender reveal on social media, she gave her answer by delivering a ‘lips sealed’ motion to the camera.
The former TOWIE sensation revealed she has been toying with different baby names which she has invented.

‘The baby names that I’ve thought of are something original,’ she said. ‘It’s something that I’ve made up, so yes, exciting. A couple of them are original.’
When asked later on, why she won’t just choose a ‘normal’ name, Lauren responded: ‘I choose to answer these annoying questions, but what do you mean?
‘What’s “normal”? You don’t even know what it is so you can’t comment on that.’
Lauren confirmed she is in a relationship with Charles Drury last year, as she moved him into her Essex pad, just three weeks after dating.

The reality star revealed they had been talking about children in the future, but were surprised how quickly she became pregnant.
She confirmed they first connected over messaging as she said: ‘I was talking to him for quite a while before I met him, he messaged me and that’s how we met.’
Lauren added: ‘We spoke about kids and it happened very quickly, but I’m happy that it did.’
The pregnant star admitted she originally wanted three or four children, but is unsure what the future now holds.

‘I think before you’re actually pregnant and have a baby you think, “oh I want three, I want four,” the brunette star added. ‘But I think when it actually happens, you’re just kind of guessing through each day.’
When asked if she still watches old seasons of The Only Way Is Essex, she responded: ‘I haven’t seen it.
‘I have sometimes seen the old ones that have popped up on telly but I didn’t know it was on at the minute, enjoy! They were the best TOWIE [shows] definitely, the originals.’
Lauren shot to stardom when she appeared on the first series of the ITV show in 2010.
She would eventually leave in 2012 during series 6, the same year her relationship with ex-boyfriend Mark Wright broke down.
However, the reality star is open to returning to television with her own show.
She said: ‘I think I would like to see something about becoming a mum, growing up, the next stage and chapter of my life, my relationship, my real life.’
When asked why she uploads so much to social media regarding her private life but gets upset ‘when people see the things she shares’, she fired back: ‘I don’t actually upload all of my private life and everything that is going on, and I’ve had a really nice weekend with my boyfriend.’

Lauren was also questioned for her constant use of digitally-enhancing filters on Instagram.
‘It’s Instagram, they’ve been created to be used, not to not use,’ she responded to a social media follower.
Lauren said she felt she has received more criticism compared to other reality stars.
She said: ‘I’ve had a lot of stick, probably most than anyone for no reason, untrue stories, bad photos.
‘But I look at it as a compliment, they’re obsessed with talking about you, and if it’s untrue or bad, you use it as motivation, keep strong.’
