Coronation Street reveals a first look at Peters transplant news – Digital Spy

Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street has unveiled a first look as Peter Barlow receives a life-saving transplant update.

As fans of the ITV soap will know, Peter was put on the transplant list for a new liver last week, though he was told that it could potentially take months for a suitable one to become available.

However, next week, he receives some great news that means he may get a new liver sooner than expected.

In the new scenes, Carla Connor arrives at Number 1 where she reveals some sexy lingerie. However, a moment of passion between her and Peter gets disrupted when a horrified Steve McDonald walks in, leading the pair to hastily put their clothes back on.

Later on, Carla reveals that she has taken the lease on the Street Cars flat, which will give her and Peter more privacy.

Peter then takes a call from his transplant coordinator, and is left shocked as he tells Carla and Steve that they have already found a liver for him.

He nervously gets ready to go to the transplant centre, though Peter’s situation has big consequences when his son Simon comes out of hiding to see his father – only to nearly get captured by drug lord Harvey’s gang in the process.

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Wednesday, April 28 and Friday, April 30 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
